Explore Blackmagic Design Fusion 8 Insights at Broadcast India Show 2015

Join Fusion demo artist Amit Mozar at Broadcast India Show 2015 to learn new features of Blackmagic Design Fusion 8.

Fusion 8 download is available in Beta version from Blackmagic Design. BMD acquired Fusion from Eyeon in September 2014 and they made it commercially free. Keeping the legacy, Fusion 8 is also free for Windows and Mac OS X. However, for very large scale VFX techniques such as optical flow image analysis for Stereo 3D, retiming, stabilization, support of third party OpenFX plugins, unlimited distributed network rendering and to use Generation; post production house must buy the Fusion Studio version.

This free public beta is the first version on Mac platform. It was announced on NAB, April 13th 2015 that Fusion 8 will be released for Mac OS X. Releasing the Mac compatible Fusion is one of major milestones of Blackmagic Design. It has opened up a whole new segment to millions of visual effects and motion graphics artists along with various broadcast and video people. To make it even much more better, Windows and Mac has smooth and loss less pipeline. So, the artist can do back and forth between both the operating systems as per the need of client. Now, even a start up or low budget level VFX studio can produce realistic high end visual effects which are at par of giant post production houses. It is heavily used to solve various complex Animation and VFX scenes and to generate seamless output through integrating live action footages with CGI.

Fusion is serving the best output for more than 25 years in the Media and Entertainment industry. It is leading digital Visual Effects Compositing and Motion Graphics package for artists all around the world. Blackmagic Design Fusion is built on node base technology which makes it first choice for VFX artists. Fusion 8 has seen significant improvements in terms of look and feel and operations. It’s huge tool set can easily pull off any complex visual effects shots which requires rotoscopy, tracking, keying, tracking, animation, warping, wire removal, vector paint, day to night, color correction, integration and lighting on 3D models, advanced in-built particle system, various filters, effects and so on. The stereoscopic tools and 3D workspace are the icing on the cake. Fusion is accelerated with GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) to get real time output and instant feedback of your node operations. Get practical knowledge of all these and more from Fusion demo artist at Broadcast India venue.

The paid version of Fusion gives you the power of distributed network rendering. It renders seamless in conjunction with tight deadlines. For the collaborative team work projects, Fusion Studio comes with Generation to track of all scenes as single point access. Rather than seeing a single shot, it shows the big picture. Deep Pixel Compositing can count both the things : RGB color and XYZ position in OpenEXR files for accurate depth.
