What is ATEM?
ATEM is a family name of switcher products of Blackmagic Design. It is based on the name of the Egyptian god, Atum.
BMD has organized a free popupworkshop to showcase the strength of their post production workflow with focus on their ATEM. It is a line of live production switchers made by Blackmagic Design. These switchers are used to switch between multiple video sources in a live production environment, such as a television studio or a live event. They can be used to mix video from cameras, computers, and other sources in real-time and output the final mix to a broadcast or streaming destination.
ATEM switchers come in several different models, each with varying numbers of inputs and outputs and different levels of functionality and control. They are commonly used in television studios, live events, and other professional video production environments.
