About the VIEW Award 2020:

VIEW Conference is the premiere international event in genre of Computer Graphics (CG), Interactive Techniques, Digital Cinema, 2D/3D Animation, AR & VR, Gaming and VFX, held in Italy. It is one of the biggest event that attracts various creative and technical artists alike. Apart from master classes from renowned people from diverse verticals of Media & Entertainment industries, the event also holds meetings, screening, exhibits and many more. 

The current edition is the 21^st International VFX Computer Graphics conference. It is scheduled on 18^th to 23^rd October, 2020 at Torino, Italy. 

Competition details:

Entry Window for 2020 VIEW Awards is now open. There are two competitions: 

1. VIEW Award 2020 for short animated movies
2. ItalianMix award

Details and rules of VIEW Award 2020 for short animated movies:

• Professionals or students, individuals or groups may submit entries and compete for the VIEW award 2020.
• Entries must be 2D or 3D CG animated films of 30 minutes or less.
• The short film must be created after January 1, 2019.
• An international jury drawn from the VIEW Conference speaker roster will award the €2,000 cash as first prize.

Details and rules of VIEW Award 2020 for ItalianMix award:

• Italian artists working individually or with a group can do participation in this event. 
• It is for short Italian films.
• Animated, experimental, or documentary films of 30 minutes or less created after January 1, 2019 are accepted.
• All dialog in any film entered must be in English or Italian or have subtitles in English or Italian.
• Each submission should come with a press kit, a project description, high-res still images of the work, and director credits.
• The winner will receive a Wacom tablet.

• The deadline for entries is September 15, 2020.
• There is a €10 fee to enter.
