What is Autodesk PRISM?
More than a traditional event, Autodesk PRISM is a collaborative event for many artists, CGI studios and VFX houses.
Hosted by Autodesk, a global leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software, PRISM is an award to recognize visual creators. It’s a platform that honors and showcases the incredible talent of studios who uses Autodesk’s industry standard softwares, 3ds Max and Maya, to bring their ideas to life. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or an emerging talent, PRISM welcomes artists from all backgrounds and disciplines.
Prepare to be mesmerized as talented artists showcase their exclusive works created using 3ds Max and Maya. From stunning 3D animations to mind-blowing VFX projects, each creative project will showcase the extraordinary skills of an artist / studio.
The event is an testament of Autodesk to celebrate the artistic excellence of our digital artists and studios. That’s why it is coined as ‘Recognizing Visual Creators’.

How to participate?
There are two ways – Attendee and Participant / Studio.
Attendee:
- As the name suggests, you are attending the Autodesk event as a spectator.
- You are not participating in the Autodesk Prism competition.
- Your purpose is networking and gathering latest knowledge of the Indian and Global AVGC (Animation, VFX, Gaming, Comics) industry.
Participant / Studio:
There are two options to submit your entry.
- Best 3D Animation
- Best VFX
Guidelines
- Work must be done via using Autodesk 3ds Max and/or Maya.
- Share the .zip file of the complete project made from the production point of view.
- Share the final output video in .mp4 or Quicktime or .mov or full-HD format.
- Please put your studio’s logo on the output video.
- File size should not exceed more than 1Gb.
- Duration for the project must be between 30 seconds to 1 minute.
It is a cut-throat competition. So, make sure to submit your best artistic works for the Autodesk event. Double check all the assets, textures and interlinks in the project files before uploading.
Our jury will check your project file(s) and judge it accordingly as per the respective parameters. The winners will get recognition and accolades in the AVGC circle.
From all the submissions, the project with best Texturing and Lighting will also be recognized.
