London and Canada based Animation & VFX studio Cinesite acquired Germany based Visual Effects studio Trixter.

In recent news, Cinesite acquires Trixter. It happened after Cinesite secured financial amount of $70M through asset manager Pemberton Capital. Both the post production houses have impressive credentials in blockbuster Hollywood Animation and Visual Effects movies. With this change of action, the combined force will be able to produce more stunning work. Buying such assets is not new for Cinesite.

- March 2017: Cinesite acquired Animation studio Nitrogen Studios
As per the agreement, even after the acquisition, Trixter brand will continue. The senior management board will continue their Animation and VFX projects from Germany. They will report to Cinesite’s Group CEO Mr. Antony Hunt. On this acquisition, Antony Hunt said “The Trixter team has a fantastic reputation for producing high quality concept art, character design alongside complex VFX and feature animation. In partnering with Trixter, we are executing our strategic objective of enhancing our market position in both visual effects and animation and getting the benefit of an amazing creative team of people in Munich and Berlin.”
