GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Job Responsibilities: The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines. It may involve managing more than one design brief at a time and allocating the relevant amount of time according to the value of the job.

           Job Duties:

  •          Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
  •          Plan concept by studying information and materials.
  •          Illustrate concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  •          To obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout.
  •          Final layout must be detailed and artistic.
  •          Should have Good Communication skills
  •          Should be flexible and adapt to change when asked to.
  •          Should be creative and pay attention to detail.
  •          Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  •          Should be able to work as a part of a team.
  •          Software Knowledge – Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel draw and In Design.

CG Artist – CG Asset ( Modeling, Texturing and Lighting)

Job Responsibilities: The work is to establish designs and need to produce an accurate translation of the design reference, staying on model (in style). Artist should be able to do its own research on the asset being created and should work on it logically.

The models produced need to meet the creative requirements of the client, satisfying the technical needs of the CG department. It must be efficient, reliable to scale and easy to rig and animate.

          Job Duties:

  •          Be able to think in 3D
  •          Be able to follow design reference accurately and work in a range of styles
  •          Be able to model characters, props and environments, working to a good level of finish.
  •          Must have good drawing skills, including the use of light and shadow, along with a good understanding of anatomy
  •          Have a strong sense of scale, form, weight and volume
  •          Be able to do UV mapping and layout.
  •          Create photorealistic textures which will often be created from scratch, or from existing materials to define the surface qualities of a 3-D computer model.
  •          Be able to take direction and be willing to address constructive feedback
  •          Be able to work with a minimum of supervision 
  •          Be able to deliver on schedule, working calmly and efficiently under pressure
  •          Show respect for the procedures and requirements of a particular studio, production or pipeline

Job Responsibilities : Artist should help develop tools for animation production processes, collaborate with modelers and animators developing new techniques to solve character production challenges.

           Job Duties:

  •          Develop and maintain procedural rig components.
  •          Work with the Modeling Department to ensure that models are suitable for rigging and performance requirements.
  •          Work with Animators to develop and prototype rigs for a broad range of creative and technical requirements.
  •          Support rigs as they move through the pipeline and develop supplementary Animation tools and processes.
  •          Should have Good Communication skills
  •          Should be creative and pay attention to detail.
  •          Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  •          Should be flexible and adapt to change when asked to.
  •          Should be able to work as a part of a team.
  •          Software knowledge – Maya

CONCEPT ARTIST

Job Responsibilities:

  • Producing the illustrations that help Production Designers realise their vision.
  • Making sure their drawings are accurate and clear and adapting them as necessary during filming
  • Using computer illustration software packages

            Job Duties:

  •          Have up-to-date knowledge of computer illustration software packages
  •          Be skilled in film imagery
  •          Have excellent illustration skills
  •          Visualise perspective and 3D space
  •          Have a keen interest in design (Gaming, Film, Comic)
  •          Hyper realistic, cartoony, semi realistic, fantasy.
  •          Good sense of color theory, lighting, photography
  •          Visually interpret other people’s ideas
  •          Should have Good Communication skills

ANIMATOR

Job Responsibilities : Job  revolves around designing and producing images  and plays a role in the process of creating animation for technology, cartoons and video games. Artist should be working to production deadlines and meeting clients’ commercial requirements.

       Job Duties:

  •          liaising with clients and developing animation from their concepts;
  •          Time characters’ movements to soundtracks or voice overs.
  •          Interpret scripts.
  •          create thumbnails of the animation through stick figures.  Must posses strong posing skills.
  •          Should have strong knowledge of principles of animation.
  •          Should have good acting skills.
  •          Must have a knack for story telling.
  •          Should have Good Communication skills
  •          Should be flexible and adapt to change when asked to.

MOTION GRAPHICS ARTIST:

Job Responsibilities: To bring still graphics to life with visual effects, animation, and cinematic techniques to make the products interesting and engaging. Communicating a message or evoking an emotional response from the audience.

           Job Duties:

  •          Prepare design plan, concept and layout for motion graphic project.
  •          Design and create enticing motion graphics for video deliverables (corporate videos, eLearning, websites, marketing demos, etc.)
  •          Create and deliver motion graphics in various media including web, mobile, etc.
  •          Work with art and creative teams to understand project scope and objectives.
  •          Assist in selecting audio, video, colors, animation, etc for graphic design.
  •          Work with editors, producers and other designers to resolve technical and/or design issues.
  •          Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.
  •          Research and analyze best design techniques and solutions to create motion graphics.
  •          Assist in designing and creating storyboards.
  •          Participate in brainstorming session to share new design perspectives and ideas.
  •          Maintain and follow best practices for versioning control, naming convention and organization of graphic files.
  •          Maintain up-to-date knowledge about latest graphic design techniques.
