The Foundry has arranged NUKE Non-Commercial Competition 2015 in association with Runic Films. The VFX artist has to use NUKE non commercial to complete the scenes of the short film named Hashtag. The winners will get prizes from The Foundry, fxphd and Wacom.
NUKE Non-commercial summer competition 2015 is here for the visual effects artists all around the globe. It doesn’t matter if you are fresher or veteran VFX artist. You only have to use non commercial version of The Foundry‘s NUKE for Hashtag VFX.
The NUKE Non Commercial Competition 2015 :
Hashtag is the short film by Runic Films which is getting funded on Kickstarter. It is futuristic science fiction film where the social media takes lead on human’s daily lives on each second. Directed by Ben Alpi, it features Gigi Edgley an Australian actress in the lead role. To finish the VFX, it is featured in The Foundry Competition.
NUKE Non Commercial Competition 2015 is to merge HUD (Heads Up Display) and keyboard display elements with the live action footage seamlessly. The artist can use any tools of NUKE non commercial version for the integration. He/she is free to work and submit the entire sequence of on a single shot.

Technical Prizes :
There are separate prizes for ‘best sequence’ and ‘best shot’. From all the categories, total prizes are worth over $32,000. These includes :
