Women In Industry is the exclusive live webinar by Escape Studios on the International Animation Day, October 28. It will feature Tara Saunders, Helen O’Hara and Davi Stein.

 

‘Women In Industry‘ is the live webinar hosted by Escape Studios. Escape has chosen the best day for this exclusive webinar that is the International Animation Day, October 28. The day was registered by ASIFA (ASsociation Internationale du Film d’Animation – International Animated Film Association) in 2002. It is one of the glorious moments for our Animation and VFX Industry.  

Escape had selected Tara Saunders, Helen O’Hara and Davi Stein which are extremely successful and giant names in the diversified field of Animation, VFX and creative industries. They will be sharing their journey so far, the obstacles they overcame, their industry insights tips and tricks to becomes successful and many more. It will be followed by online attendances Q & A session. The entire event is part of Pearson College, London. It is in sync with their mission of developing world class talent with creative skill set.

Tara Saunders had done graduation with an MA in Computer Animation. She started her career at Sony London Studio as a junior animator on The Gateway. It was the time when PlayStation 2 was launched. Having versatile experience of 14 years in the technical field, currently she is on the designation of Studio Art Director. Apart from her studio life, Tara is an active member of BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts). She is also involved in various education advisory boards.

 

Helen O’Hara had 11 years of extensive record as renowned film journalist at the very prestigious Empire Magazine from 2003. She also lead the position of Presenter on Empire podcast. Helen took her journey from editorial intern to online editor. Her major credits includes BBC Radio Ulster, Radio 6 Music, Channel 4news, The Radio 2 Arts Show, The Today Programmer and many others. During her career, Helen has won a number of awards and also a huge recognition from iTunes in 2012. She had wore multiple hats in Radio and TV Broadcasting areas. Currently, she is freelance journalist for premium brands like The Pool, GQ and The Telegraph. 

Davi Stein is representing Escape Studios as 2D Head and Compositing Instructor. She takes classes of ‘Compositing for Visual Effects’ and ‘Advanced Compositing for Visual Effects’ courses. Davi has tons of Post Production Studios in her extensive profile on the Compositing skill set spanning over 12 years in the VFX Industry ; Framestore, Cinesite, Blue Sky Studios, Tippette Studios, DNeg, Industrial Light & Magic to name a few. Some of her most notable movie credits includes The Matrix Trilogy, Australia, The Dark Knight, Where the Wild Things Are, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man’s Chest and many more. She had also reviewed the book named ‘How to Get Into and Survive Film, Advertising and TV Post-production’.
