The complete guest speakers profile and event workflow of The Foundry India Road Show 2015 is given below.
The Foundry Technology Presentation will be given by Courtney Pryce (Creative Specialist, The Foundry). Courtney will demonstrate three new features of NUKE 10.
- Real-time Keyer will be used to pull out the green screen.
- Overlay Blend Track will help the artist to select the best chroma plate before exporting the script.
- Ray-traced Render is the premium new tool of NUKE 10. It renders faster than old Scanline renderer. It can also produce various essential render passes for CG and Live Action Compositing like AO (Ambient Occlusion), Specular, Reflections, Diffuse and many more.
The Foundry NUKE 10 is coming soon in early 2016
International studio partner Double Negative Visual Effects‘s 2D Sequence Supervisor Raphael Hamm will be sharing his compositing tips and tricks in ‘My Secret NUKE Kitchen‘. Raphael is a veteran VFX compositing artist since 2009 with Double Negative. He has very impressive track record of Hollywood blockbuster movies like Total Recall, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 & 2, Paddington, Terminator Genisy, Thor: The Dark World, Dark Knight Rises, Man of Steel, Interstellar and many more. His latest project is Tim Burton movie ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children‘. For his extra ordinary creative and technical skills, Raphael Hamm got nominated for the Visual Effects Society (VES) award in the category of ‘Best Compositing’ for Interstellar.
And here comes the icing on the cake. Shahin Toosi, Senior Lighter and Compositor, from Lipsync Post will demonstrate NUKE and V-Ray for NUKE – A Production Workflow. Chaos Group’s V Ray and NUKE can be combined together for the stable and faster VFX pipeline in post production. Shahin will showcase an entire new advanced level of Compositing for feature films and other media. The workflow for compositor will teach how to go for layout, lighting, materials, texture assignment and rendering inside NUKE and NUKE Studio using V-Ray for NUKE. Various production level camera projections and rendering tricks will be revealed. Toosi is using same production pipeline at Lipsync.
‘V Ray for NUKE’ is available only for Mumbai and Chennai.
