DuckTales Reboot of 23 episodes will be launched on Disney XD during 2017 summer. Enjoy existing first look images with power packed trailer. 

‘DuckTales’ needs no introduction. It has been, and still, an outstanding Animation series from Disney. The amazing characters are no less than legends. It had been a huge success from its inception in 1987. Carl Barks is the creative genius behind all these larger than life characters and their adventures which enthralled generations. The series was evenly famous from children to adults. To add in the successful franchise, Disney had made the first animation movie based on the TV series: ‘DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp‘ in 1990. 

Let’s refresh the memory with DuckTales family tree and other major iconic characters of DuckTales reboot.

• Uncle Scrooge: Known as the richest duck in the world. To indicate this creatively, he is also symbolized as Uncle $crooge. Also known as Scrooge McDuck.
• Huey, Dewey and Louie: The very well known three musketeers of the Duck Universe. They are grandnephews of Uncle Scrooge and nephews of Donald Duck. Junior Woodchucks Guidebook is one of their best ally during the adventures. 
• Donald Duck: Undoubted, one of the best cartoon character ever created. Apart from DuckTales, he has been featured in various Disney movies. In this series, he is nephew of Uncle Scrooge.
• Mrs. Bentina Beakley: Housemaid in Scrooge’s mansion. Gradually she becomes nanny and mother figure of the kids. 
• Webby: Also named as Webbigail Vanderquack, she is granddaughter of Mrs. Beakley. Although she is not related with the Scrooge family, this duckling plays a major role in various adventures stories.
• Launchpad McQuack: As the name suggests, he is a pilot. It is his duty to support on various aerial missions to Uncle Scrooge. He can do fierce aerial stunts and can land everyone safely despite worst conditions. 
• Gyro Gearloose: He is an inventor. He always tries to help genuinely, but sometimes his ideas cause more troubles.   
• Duckworth the Butler: Don’t go on a name. Although mainly he is the butler, but times comes when he is the one man army for Uncle Scrooge. 

Their main villains are thieves the Beagle Boys, the witch Magica De Spell, and the industrialist Flintheart Glomgold. They can be expected in new season of DuckTales 2017 with new ideas to problem the Scrooge family. The first season will have total 23 episodes, which includes half-an-hour long 21 episodes and two special episodes which will run of an hour. 

The best part of the DuckTales reboot? Disney has retained the old look and feel of hand drawing animation. Some color schemes and characterization are different, but they still give feeling of the original series. To be very honest, parents will enjoy more than the kids. It will be same nostalgic journey for parents like the latest movie: The Jungle Book. 

Disney XD had announced in February 2015 that they are working on the DuckTales reboot which will premier in 2017. And finally the first trailer was released on 2^nd March, 2017. Also check out the first look images of the series.
