1. Shenmue 3:
Shenmue 3 is making a comeback this year. Set after the events of Shenmue 2, the third installation of the action-adventure series is back 18 years after its predecessor! This one sees teenage martial artist Ryo Hazuki on a hunt for his father’s killer in China. The story is set in the 1980s. This installment is not made by Sega though! Is Shenmue III still worth it? Let’s wait and watch.

2. Gears 5:
The latest installment in the series of Gears of War is continued from the emotional ending of Gears of War 4 where we see female protagonist Kait in the starring role as she leads her team on a personal mission. We are offered with a local co-op mode ‘Escape’, a new 3-player online, a new map editor and a unique character pack featuring Terminator skins in a crossover with the upcoming ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’ film.

Adding one more to the core Pokemon series, Pokemon Sword and Shield comes with a host of new beasts. Bringing Pokemon into the eighth generation the new games will be set in the Galar region which is the version of Great Britain of Nintendo that features picturesque countryside and soccer stadiums. Get ready to be wooed by a host of new Pokemon including the enchanting Woolo and desolated Sobble.

4. Borderlands 3:
As confirmed by Gearbox, Borderlands 3 will release later this year nearly seven years after the release of its predecessor. The third iteration of the shoot and loot franchise lets you play as a Vaulter Hunter that has to stop the antagonist Calypso twins from taking control of the Vaults existing beyond the planet of Pandora and exploiting the “Children of the Vault”. You can expect a vibrant and lively alien planet to explore, flamboyant characters, wisecracking humor and a plethora of absurd weapons.

5. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order:
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order by Respawn Entertainment lets you play and take up the role of a former Jedi padawan called Cal Kestis who is forced into hiding followed by the execution of Order 66, that saw the Jedi trapped and killed by their own supporting Clone Trooper soldiers. The official glimpse in the form of a story trailer got the galactic franchise much hype amongst the fans. The latest entrant takes a different approach while focusing on a single-player affair that is more in line with the decade-old The Force Unleashed.

6. The Outer Worlds:
Obsidian’s new single-player sci-fi RPG is super exciting, to say the least. The Outer Worlds sees you waking up from hibernation and a colony, ‘Halycon’ – inhabited at the edge of the galaxy is driven by big-brand corporations and is being conspired for destruction. The unfolding of the story and the fate of Haylcon depends on how you play. If Fallout 76 didn’t excite you, hen The Outer Worlds could be one to look forward to.

7. Doom Eternal:
2016’s Doom sequel is sure to keep you busy with plenty of demon-slaying. This time it promises to be an ultra-violent and fast-paced shooting extravaganza. Introducing an amplified Doom slayer and a host of new demons – and this time the invasion being spread further than Mars, Doom Eternal is indicating to go bigger and better than ever before.

8. FIFA 20:
Seasons change, and at the tail-end of every year, we get a new FIFA title. Being the next entrant in the long-running football simulation series, FIFA 20 sees the addition of brand new features like revamped shooting, better manual defending, and indoor five-a-side mode along with a’Volta Football’ street.

9. Death Stranding:
Kojima Productions dropped a brand-new, lengthy trailer for Death Stranding on 29th May and it was rather confusing to be very honest. As far as the trailer is concerned, Death Stranding involves Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead), a jar containing a foetus and some menacing shadowy creatures. We also see other cast members Guillermo Del Toro, Mads Mikkelsen, and Troy Baker.

10. Blair Witch:
Bloober Team, the studio behind Layers Of Fear, is set to serve us Blair Witch a video game. Set in the 1990s, the plot begins with the disappearance of a young boy in a forest and set two years after the original movie. You will join the search as a troubled cop. The game can provide you some jumpy-scares like that original film.
