VES (Visual Effects Society) is very well known name for all individuals who belongs to the creative and technical arena of movies, Animation, VFX (Visual Effects), TV series, games, music videos, commercials, broadcasting, media education and any other verticals of Media & Entertainment sectors. This niche organization has spread across more than 40 countries worldwide, with over 3,900 members. Major establishments of VES are in Australia, the San Francisco Bay Area, France, Georgia (USA), Germany, India, London, Los Angeles, Montreal, New York, New Zealand, Toronto, Vancouver and Washington state.
VES India is the 12th chapter of Visual Effects Society. It took form on 16th December, Saturday, 2017 at Red Chillies VFX Studio. It was participated by various key people of Indian Animation and VFX industry – Anish Mulani (Head of Prana Studios, Mumbai), Keitan Yadav (Co-Founder and COO of RedChillies VFX, Mumbai), Devrishi Chatterjee (Lead Compositor at MPC, Bangalore), Abhishek Krishnan (Graphics PR Manager at AMD, India), Bejoy Arputharaj (VFX Supervisor / Managing Director at PhantomFX, Chennai), Suresh Kondareddy (VFX supervisor/Creative Head at Digikore Studios Pvt. Ltd., Pune), Neil Sadwelkar (Director at Digital Dada, Mumbai), Sachin Shrestha (Production Technology Supervisor at Prana Studios, Mumbai), Mohinder Subramaniam (Visual Effects Supervisor) and Madhu Sudhanan (Senior Visual Effects Supervisor) to name a few.
To promote the work of Indian artists and studios, VES India has taken an unique initiative, titled by ‘THE MAKING OF’. The event will showcase talent of India based Animation and Visual Effects studios and artists. Various exclusive behind the scenes and making of videos will be presented with keynote by eminent speakers. Such before and before will be explained in detailed manner, so we will come to let us understand the technical process behind filmmaking and post production pipeline. AMD Radeon Pro presentation will showcase the software pipeline, which helps all artists and supervisors to achieve their output in stipulated timeframe.
